The name of Edward *Ted* Rowe was chosen, because he was the first Scranton man to die in World War I. 2007 marks there 75th anniversary. The V.F.W Auxiliary are active in many programs, a few of them are: American Youth Activities, Cancer Aid & Research, VFW National Home for Children, Scholarship programs, Hospital and un-met needs for our nation and their families and the needy. They are a small organization locally, but hard working and they are very proud of the work they accomplish. |
